
KPAKPOSHITO (Green pepper sauce )
This pepper sauce made with our cococnut oil is very popular among ghanaians, it is commonly known as kpakposhito. This sauce is usually enjoyed with kenkey, banku, jollof rice, angwamo or fried rice
INGREDIENTS
Kpakposhito (petite belle pepper)
green bell pepper
garlic
ginger
onion
coconut oil
chicken maggi
salt as required
INSTRUCTIONS
Add kpakposhito, chopped green pepper, ginger, garlic an onion into a blender. Add enough amount of coconut oil and blend until smooth ( the coconut oil will serve as your water)
In a saucepan on medium heat, pour in the blended mixture. Add chicken stock cube or any seasoning of your choice and stir together
Leave it uncovered and simmer on medium heat until the oil settles on top. Taste and add salt as needed. Store in an airtight container and keep in the fridge for a week
